We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and spread the word during our March 2025 Fundraising Drive for the Friends of Nias clinic.

Exceeding our $50,000 goal.

Your donations will allow the clinic to continue operating for the next 2 years and implement two new health projects, carrying on the legacy of Dr Raf Ghabrial.

The two new health projects were proposed by our longest serving volunteer, Dr Charlie McLean. Having lived in Nias and volunteered at the clinic for 15 months, Dr Charlie gained valuable insight into the needs of the local community. He proposed health projects to address diabetes and H. Pylori infection, both widespread issues affecting the population of Nias. Pictured here is Dr Charlie unpacking the first load of equipment and medication purchased with your donations, so these projects can get underway.
